Friday Fishing
Amateur fishermen had yet again broken records , Friday , being less windy was the best day to go out at sea , the group , Jason, JJ Sahab, Asam Maqsood , George , Robel, Naeem , Faraz ,Rajesh, Sameer , Roy & Asad – well this time got more bigger , also not to forget it is the 3rd consecutive trip in Ras Al Khaimah , the fun kept getting wider , the team reached by about late 11 in the morning , at City Centre , which was the point of contact with Robel who is a RAK resident and the rest of the team , with a Pizza treat later by JJ Sahab , at the mall , we were ready for the Juma Prayers , mean while George & Jason doing over the groceries at the mall for the barbecue , later in the evening.
After the prayers got over, we rushed to the game site, where the boat was rented, luckily the sea was calm and it was the best day for us to go higher into the sea, we set of by almost 3 noon, the captain took us about 30-35 km away from the cost, it was a little bit scary for some of us, as we were expecting big sharks to jump over us! Ok this sounds seriously funny, and also the most important thing is that this time we did not forget to take along with us life Jackets – thanks to JJ Sahab, who reminded us on time.
Oh! We started the show with some very amusing catch , the ones those stick to big whales , and other ones you call them a cat fish , Shairey , Humor ; Sultan Ibrahim were few of the main catches .. And yea JJ Sahab got a Barracuda, a huge one of its kind, but L dropped it off!
We changed sites later after an hour, and tried different places till sunset, later we came out of the sea by almost 7 in the evening with the highest catch ever. Then all of us drove to the site next to the beach where we had prepared barbecue on our last fishing trips, which was a good and calm site. Thanks to Faraz; Jason and Roy, who got the fish ready for marinating, which was a hell of a task , and thanks to Rajesh ; George , whose marinating technique had golden touches , well the fish was yummy … and thanks to rest of the team for bringing in such an wonderful experience …..
